Check out Doc ID 77635.1, "How to determine real space used by a table
(below the HWM)" on Metalink. It will tell you just about everything you
need to know, and includes SQL scripts.

Hi list,

Because of delete operations, some tables in my database has a lot of free space below High Water Mark. For example for a table, HWM is 400 MB but the number of record is just about 2000. I try Select count(*), it takes time too long.
How to know how much is unused space below high water mark ? (for a table and index as well, because I want to know which index that has been candidate for rebuild).

Thank you.
