Index with date column on it

        Hi,

                I have a shema with many date column in indexes (created via PowerAMC) on tables, the user do many search via the dates. it is to search, organise.. financial writes. (Oracle 8.0.5 on AIX 4.3) It is a developpement database.

                Is there any trick, advice to follow or not with date in index ?
