We are currently running it however I am trying to get off it. There have
been no problems per say but since there is no need for it in our case I
do not want to be the one finding the bugs. There are more using the 32-bit
in general so there is probably going to be better support. Plus there are
cases where some of the 3rd party tools will not support their apps on the
64-bit Oracle. I briefly had a 32-bit install on the 64-bit HP and had
no problems but did not do any serious tests.

Subject: HP-UX 11.0 64-bit?
Is anyone currently running on HP-UX 11.0 64-bit?
We have this new box and were trying to figure whether to install Oracle 8.1.5 32-bit or 64-bit. Has anyone had any positive or negative experiences from running either version of Oracle on the 64-bit platform???
TIA!!! Chris Grabowy
