Does your sys admin mean mount point? One datafile is a not possible. All
Oracle files (data, redo, control, and even archive log) can go on one mount
point and work reasonably well even for Peoplesoft. You may even have an
EMC option that "moves" files around the reduce hot disks or controllers.
