Urgent - Export trick needed

We need to do a full database export (except for a set of humongous tables HUMONG1, HUMONG2, and HUMONG3).

In Oracle 7 there was a trick you could do - modify the CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW exu7tab view from $ORACLE_HOME/RDBMS/ADMIN/catexp.sql script.

Does this trick still work? Can I add a clause to the WHERE clause of this view to exclude those tables from a full database export?

Now there is not only an exu81tabs view but also an exu81obj view.
