Hi arvind!
After mounting the database
say alter database rename file 'absolute/path/of/oldredlogfile.dbf' to '/absolute path/of/newredologfile.dbf';
Ofcourse, the assumption here is
u r merely relocating the redolog files
and not trying to resize them.

I am facin certain problems while tuning the performance of oracle .It would be of great help if somebody can give suggestions over: 1).how can we change the redolog files path on a running system. 2). If we are havinfg two datafiles under one tablespace how can we move one move certain tables to one file completely
