  Just check the trace file with latest timestamp immediately after issueing the command. Check both udump & bdump ( I don't remember exactly where it's generated ;~) )

I could find the trace file but create controlfile command is missing. I am on NT box. I am trying to open file in notepad & trying with 'FIND' command.

It's there. You just need to make sure you are looking at the right trace
file.
