Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: Oracle alert log to cell phone
There is a utility called SMSALERT for sending SMS messages to digital
mobiles - it is a command line utility that can be built into a batch
file. It covers most of the popular networks and can be customised to
cover others.
I use it to notify the support personnel when a batch job on our Peoplesoft based system fails overnight, but the possibilities are endless.
