Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> SQL*Plus multiline column headings sometimes show up on just one line
I noticed that my performance tuning log sometimes shows all column =
headings
on one line, even though I specify multiple lines.
My PT script runs automatically from an NT box to diagnose databases on other servers, early in the morning once a week.
When I run the very same queries from a plus80w.exe session I start =
from the
desktop of this same NT machine, the column headers show up as =
specified.
My script uses plus80.exe instead of plus80w.exe, but I re-ran it now =
just
to verify and all the column headers showed up split into multiple =
lines.
Has anyone seen something like this?
What do I need to do to prevent plus80w.exe from displaying column =
headings
as one line instead of two or three as specified in the heading clause =
of
the column statement?
I must have forgotten something.
TIA
