Denise, I'm glad you said that. I've found Metalink very useful
myself. I can often find the answer I need by searching the TARS.
That said, however, it is probably a reflection of my inexperience that the answers I need are so readily available!

At the risk of being castigated by you all, I'm happy with Metalink. Ok,
so sometimes I have to remind them that I have a tar open and sometimes by
OpenVMS questions get routed to the UNIX group, but basically I'm happy. =

just put in an Oracle error number and got a great document that solved =

problem. I have gotten CDs for patches too large to download. I have had
them patiently explain things to me that really weren't Oracle related. =
