TNS problem

Dear List,

I am blurred, why only one site that does not connect when every site is ok and configuration=20 is exactly the same :

- the listener on the remote machine is running.

- able to ping to remote machine.
- the tnsnames.ora in local machine is correct

what else need to check ? please advise. This is Oracle 7.3.4 on Digital Unix. TIA.
