There could be a problem in the memory itself.
The database is on raw devices and here is /etc/system:

After we upgraded memory on Sun 4500 to 10Gb Oracle performance became very
bad.
It is almost 50% slower.
Any ideas?
Also when the sessions parameter becomes high like 4000, setting autotrace
on in sqlplus becomes very very slow.
