Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> Re: Mailing Lists
Actually, ODTUG sponsors several mailing lists, and they're all top notch:
ODTUG-DEV2K-L for Developer (ne Developer/2000) topics (reports, forms, etc) ODTUG-DES2K-L for Designer (ne Designer/2000) topics ODTUG-JAVA-L for JDeveloper, JDBC, JSQL and other Java-with-Oracle topics ODTUG-WEBDEV-L for WSG and WebDB topics, as well as any Oracle web topics ODTUG-SQLPLUS-L for PL/SQL, SQL*Plus and general SQL topics ODTUG-DISC2K-L for Discoverer (ne Express) topics ODTUG-METHODS-L for methodology, design and process topics ODTUG-WAREHOUSE-L for data warehousing, data mining, OLAP, etc.
Also available is ORACLE-LINUX-L (notice different spelling) for Oracle on Linux topics.
You can join any list by sending a message to:
ListGuru_at_fatcity.com
And in the message BODY, put:
SUB <listname> <realname>
For example:
SUB ODTUG-DEV2K-L Veronica Levin
Note that we also carry a couple Rocky Mountain Oracle User's Group lists
(RMOUG-L and RMOUG-MISC-L).
I should also mention that you should take a look at the ODTUG website
(www.odtug.com) and consider joining that group. It's one of the cheaper
UG's out there, and the Technical Journal is awesome, as are their
conferences. Well worth the money for the kind of resources you get from
them.
thanks,
bruce
