Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> Re:Multiple Listeners for Different Versions - Help Please
I'll go with the advice I got from Oracle on the matter. Use the latest
listener for both databases. I use an 8.0.5 listener for 2 8.0.5 instances and
one 7.3.4 instance on the same HP-UX box. Works just great.

Hi
Our set up is as follows:
Platform : Solaris 2.7
Oracle Versions : 8.0.4 & 8.0.6
I need to configure multiple listeners for 8.0.4 and 8.0.6. Could any body send me the copy of a listener.ora which will have multiple listeners to accomodate the two different versions of Oracle running. Do I need to change tnsnames.ora settings?
I will be thankful to your help.
Thanks,
