Don't know if this is too late, but check your SEMMNS setting in = /etc/system, it needs to be at least the sum of all your processes.

Hi all,
When I was creating a database on Solaris 2.6 and Oracle = version is 8.1.5 .=20
I faced the following problem. When I saw the Cause & = Action .
=20 27146, 0000, "post/wait initialization failed"// *Cause: OS system call failed
And the other error which is associated with this is ORA-3114. =
This may be becoz of lack SGA . Is it becoz of some semaphores settings =
in /etc/system or something else?
