Chan,
use db_block_buffers,shared_pool parameters
Also, High parse might indicate that your sql queries are not being shared.

Subject: What parameters to adjust?
Hi gurus,
What initorcl.ora parameters and values should I adjust when the TOAD Server Statistics shows the ff warnings?
Statistics Values Comments ---------- ------ -------- Buffer Cache Hit Ratio 88.6253 May need to increase DB_BLOCK_BUFFERS Library Cache Get Hit Ratio 83.4003 Dynamic or Unsharable SQL? Chained Fetch Ratio 0.2663 PCTFREE too low for a table Parse to Execute Ratio 22.3359 High Parse toExecute Ratio
Thank you very much for any answers.
