Look at the NT TASK-Manager, there you can see the used memory and =
memory
per process. Don't give Oracle the hole memory. You need some mem for =
the
user-processes.

Betreff: How much SGA?
Hello Seniors,
I have to tune a database on WinNT. My observation is as follows
Physical RAM is 192MB. Oracle Total SGA is 15MB. I see that i can =
increase=20
the size of SGA a lot. My question is how to find out how much i can=20
allocate to SGA. Normally how much WinNT OS needs. I want the whole SGA =
in=20
memory without anny paging and swapping.
Thanks a lot.
Ravi.
