universal installer product listing

Originally

client 8.0.5 and 7.3.4 installed in d:\orant

What I did:
De-installed 8.0.5
Installed 8.1.6 client in new oracle home d:\ora81 installed enterprise manager tuning pack in d:\ora81 installed documentation in d:\ora81

What I got:
If in universal installer select show installed products: in ora81 shows documentation only
in old d:\orant home shows 7.3.4 - correct

What happened to all the other 8.1.6 products.

I can run them so where did they go.

If go into installer and select custom, it says everything is a new = install!!!!
