Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: Pls let it die - RE: Oracle DBA opening in Englewood, CO
I am not the one who posted this thread and when I posted my message that
the position was filled I meant that it is time to close this thread.
For the first time I am thinking to unsubscribe from this list but the only thing that is keeping me from doing this is the existence of serious and highly experienced people in this group that I like to hear and interact with them.
Regards everybody,
Waleed

Subject: Pls let it die - RE: Oracle DBA opening in Englewood, CO
Sorry. I couldn't let this one pass.
I am not a headhunter. I am a DBA working for GWL and we do have a position
open
for an Oracle DBA (and yes, headhunters can be a pain, but they can also be
helpful if handled correctly).
I ignored the posting from Waleed which said the position was filled (even
though it hadn't been) since it was time to let this one die (which it
hasn't).
This "Subject" had spawned some other discussions (some interesting) of the
duties of a DBA before it degenerated to its current level.
I do, however, agree that it is time to let this particular subject die and
go
on with other more important things.
Thanks for the useful (and humorous) information.
