RE: Error during Oracle install

Make sure the command:
which ld

returns:
/usr/ccs/bin/ld

Also make sure your LD_LIBRARY_PATH is correct ($ORACLE_HOME/bin).

You can also try removing Oracle, and then reinstalling.
