Our webmaster is working on something which we find is missing on the
market : a screen-saver targeted at DBAs. Our idea is to have 'The DBA
commandments' appearing randomly on tablets, which could make a useful
checklist to junior DBAs (and to seasoned ones on one of those bad
days). We of course have a number of ideas, but firstly we may simply
forget interesting things, and secondly some of you may express the same
ideas in a more concise (tablets are small !) and wittier way than
ourselves. So, if you have ideas, they are welcome and should be
directly forwarded to webmaster_at_oriolecorp.com (not to the list, please,
no use to increase the traffic, be kind to bandwidth). We shall post the
full list to the list later.
I shall let you know when the screen-saver is downloadable from our site
if you are interested. For those of you going to the EOUG conference in
Madrid, it will also be on a CD (with most of our site's contents)
available at our stand there.
