Hello,
I altered a table with nologging option & loaded 10 mil rows. I then checked
the archiving folder & found that it builds a bundle of arch file & took all
the space.
According to my understanding if i want to stop archiving while loading a
data, the other alternate to 'alter database noarchivelog' is to alter the
table to nologgoing. Cant shutdown the database.
Please correct me if iam wrong.
I have a table in which i have to load 30 mill rows. Using loader fill up my
archiving space after 5 mil inserts.
Thanks in advance.
Salu
