Upgrade to Multiple Drives

It looks like I will be inheriting an Oracle application/DB on a single spindle HP-UX box. The application is relatively simple at this time but will be upgraded in the near future to 8i / Java. Also, another job scheduling / WIP tracking application will be added in the near future. I believe that the simplest setup would be 7 drives (22 would be ideal). How would I go about moving from one drive to seven?
