Hi,

        We are having WEBDB 2.2 on Solaris 2.4 & Oracle 7.3.4.0.

We have a form based on a table. This form has a field empno as one of the fields. We want to link a report which take the value of empno as input and display us the details of that empno.

To be more accurate: we are not able to pass a parameter from a data entry form screen to a report. This is required because while entering the data we want to see some more details from a reference table.

For ready reference of the problem see this diagram:

we want to enter employee no 2245 and when we click the link it should display me result of the query inside the link and show me the results of employee no 2245.

Another problem is that we are not able to write triggers on field level which might have solved our many problems.

Please suggest us someway out for these. Thank in advance.
