Exporting/importing data from 8.1.5 to 8.0.5

Listers,

For reasons that are too lengthy to explain here, I'm trying to export data from an 8.1.5 database and import the data into an 8.0.5 database. The tables I'm exporting contain CLOB data. All of this is being done on a Solaris platform.

I can't get the import to work on 8.0.5. I've searched MetaLink and have found a few things that indicate it can be done, but I'm currently stymied, stumped, and frustrated. Has anyone done this sort of thing before, and if so, how'd you do it???

Any help will be greatly appreciated, as it will mean I actually have a job for another couple of weeks. ;>)
