Of course if you look at what you're actually doing
with TSPITR, you're cloning all or a subset of the db
to recover the table(s). TSPITR does allow you to
autotmate, via RMAN, the steps as well as make it
easier to clone subsets of the db. With 8i you can
also integrate it with transportable tablespaces.
