Unless memory is not serving correctly, I believe you need Enterprise version, not workgroup, to use a bitmap index in Oracle7.

Can someone please enlighten me as to which was the first version of Oracle (on NT) to support bitmap indexes ??

My 7.3.3 manual shows the command syntax, but it is rejected when I try to create one.

PS We run 7.3.3 workgroup version.
