Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> Maximum value of RECORDLENGTH for EXP
I have a co-worker claiming that setting RECORDLENGTH to some
high number like 512000 is supposed to dramatically improve
performance for DIRECT exports.
I remember that Oracle said at one time that internally, RECORDLENGTH never went above 64K regardless of the specified value. Any idea as to what
is the practical maximum value for RECORDLENGTH?
Thanks,
