I can definitely say that that Oracle 8.04 still does the rounding (most of
the time, not always).
We're using 140K, 4100K and individual tablespaces for anything above
Medium.
BTW, you have the extent sizes reversed from new to old paper. The new one specifies 160K and 5120K (which avoids the 5 block rounding problem).

On the second point i have seen this statement several times in various documentation but haven't found this to be true.
