Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: Password Expiration Message
Never mind, we figured it out.
Apparently the password expired and had a grace period of 24851 days
(probably the unlimited default).
Embarassedly,

Subject: Password Expiration Message
I was testing password expiration on our development box and after my tests
set everything (I thought) back to what it was.
RESOURCE_LIMIT=FALSE
All Resources for the DEFAULT profile are set to unlimited.
One (and only one) of the users with the DEFAULT profile assigned to him gets the following error message upon logging in:
ERROR:
ORA-28002: the password will expire within 24851 days
For the life of me I can't figure out what's different between this user and the others with DEFAULT assigned to them. And I didn't think such a message should show up at all if resource_limit=false.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
It's Oracle 8.0.4.3 on Solaris 2.5.1 Received on Mon May 08 2000 - 14:04:32 CDT
