As you may have noticed, the world got hit by another virus/worm today. You can find information on this virus at http://www.f-secure.com or http://www.cert.org. This virus sends an attachment which can remail itself to others and delete files on your computer. Don't open the attachment if you see this virus -- just delete the whole thing.

I have installed a filter to ListGuru to catch this virus before it gets to the lists, but it's possible that a mutated version will soon hit the streets. Please be very cautious of your E-mail over the next few days.

I've already noticed quite a few sites which have shut down their mail service in order to deal with this problem. That means a lot of delivery failure messages for us here at fatcity.com, so if y'all could tone things down a bit today and keep the list traffic to an abolute minimum, *everyone* would appreciate it. That doesn't mean stop posting, but if you can defer your questions, answers and comments for a few days, the net as a whole could use the breathing room. :-)

If you have any questions or problems, please feel free to contact me.

thanks,
bruce
