Hmm... now that you mention it, maybe it was a deliberate decision to make sure that people re-read SQL.BSQ. I notice that the location has changed from $ORACLE_HOME/dbs to $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin (wise move!, more comments have been added and the file is better formatted. In my case, I re-read it (to fix the break) and noted the additions (and changes!) to OBJ$...
Any other opinions anyone?
