Getting a new machine

We are currently running Oracle 7.3.4.4 on a Sun-2000
attached to an EMC disk array.



Does anybody know if it is possible to upgrade to a completely
new server (Sun-6500) by just unplugging the 2000 and plugging in the 6500?
