Dear Friends,

I want to create a text file through FORMS with data of some items that i have used in my FORM.

Then after saving it I want to read that data from this text file through FORMS.

Pleae provide me a simple example.

Why? Here's what I would do: put the data from form 1 in a table and read from that table from form 2. No need to fiddle with text files.

Thanks for your reply but no thanks because I need to read a text file when I open one of my form to do some user configuration.

Any ways I have found a way. For help of others read about TEXT_IO PACKAGE.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not a fah of file handling in Forms but good that you found a solution.
