Hi Experts,

I am familiar with using Forms 6i. For test run, I installed Forms10g developer suite and backend oracle 9i standard edition.

After successful installation I faced the following problem.

First, It showed an error message FRM-10142 : HTTP Listener is not running on hostname at port 8889. However, after starting OC4J Instance I am not getting an error message.

My Question is : Is it necessary each time I should run this when I load the form builder?

I created one sample form but when I run this, It is opening IE and showing some HTML codes.. Can anybody send one sample working form or useful link?

Please help me.

Yes, it is necessary to start OC4J instance every time during development process. Documentation can be found at the same place as any other Oracle documentation: Oracle Technology Network's Documentation pages.
