I'm pretty new to Oracle and I'm trying to install on a Win XP Machine.
I'd like to know if anyone had some experience on installing The Database Instance and the Application Server on a same machine without any trouble or precaution.
Obviously on a Windows machine.
It will works without any problems?

Sure it's doable with much trouble. Just need to ensure you have plenty of RAM. AS is a resource hog !!
