how to change the value of Record Group at run time [message #305143]

I want to change the value of drop down list.depending upon the value of another field.
for an example:
one field contain number of country code.based upon country code record group should populte Districts of corresponding country.
first time it doesn't give error.but 2nd time whenever i change the value of country code its not generating record group.
i put clearlist under when-validate-item error coming.
pls anybody have solution.

Hi,

1. Copy the code and put it on When-List-Changed of the first item.
2. Then, clear the second list, only if the group is not null.

This should work.

Hi,
first item is not list item. that is text item.and i put clearlist under When-validate-Item of first item.because district list will be populate based upon first item code where query different.

Hi Nadia
I can give you an example where it works, but tell me whether you are using POPULATE_LIST or POPULATE_GROUP_FROM_QUERY;
