firstly, i installed Oracle 9i on my computer. then i started to install Developer 9.
while installing Developer 9, the screen asks,

what type of directory do you have: Oracle Internet Directory (my option)
Where is your directory located: Host Name = DPSer (my computer name), Port = 389, SSL Port = 636

But there is a directory service error. Please guide me for my installation.

Hai

You put the computer name as DPSer.

After give the computer name click on the more and type the
oracle.com

Try it.
