Dear Sir
I want to write Arabic in database oracle 8i
I changed the
NLS_CHARACTERSET = AR8ISO8859P6 and
NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET=AR8ISO8859P
But when I selected in database the data appears like ?????
Who can I resolve this problem.

do this step
1-go to windows >>run --type regedit
2-but the cursor on my_computer then go to menu edit>>find
3- type nls_lang
4-when nls_lang is found
5-press right click mouse and use modifiy
6-type Arabic_Egypt.AR8MSWIN1256
7-press F3 AND change all the nls_lang
8-after you finsi add arabic language to your computer
9-go to control panel >>regional & language>> then add arabic
10-restart computer
and check your oracle
