OLTP stands for Optical Lunar Transfer Protocol. This is when we need to store and transport information about things to do with the universe (and everything in it)
OLAP is similar Optical Lunar Assertion Protocol. This is used when we need to confirm the validity of our OLTP transfers.
ETL is obviously Extra Terrestrial Lifeform (not quite sure the relevance to the thread) but that is an 'alien' to the layman. (also sometimes referred to as a 'consultant')
Production Database is where you keep track of things that you produce.
But don't take my word for it, search the internet (you've probably got one on your PC but if you don't you can probably get the Internet on disk from your local PC shop)
