Dears,
I'm new in this forum and by reading some posts I found it wonderful.
Actually we are working on a project (Telco sector) named Item master file cleansing.
Main deliverables for this project are :
- We have almost 50 000 items (Master org only)
- we need a reliable method to de duplicate those items, final output is a list of similar items (based on their description only) to be removed (or deactivated any advice is welcome).
- for new item creation an on line checking must be triggered to get warning if any similar item exist.
- Automatic mapping between item and his category.
- Automatic mapping between category and item template
- Any clue on implementing PLM.
