how do i display a message in a dialogue box using API [message #300611]

Hi all,

I need to display a message in a dialouge box ina a smalll form
in a when-button pressed trigger.
using fnd_message.question we can get a dialogue box with yes and no buttons but on abouve these yes and no i need to diaplay message
that ' you selected to delete an order' if user clicks yes the order should be deleted accordingly

how do i need to display message ' you selected to delete an order' using API

do i need to create any message using Application developer responsibility --> appliation->messages

how can i do this ?

please any one help me

is there any need to run a concurrent program in application developer?

Hi David,

My requirement is i should not use alerts
Ineed to create a Message in Application Developer responsibility application Developer->application->message
but i dont know the process

and i need to call it in when butten pressed trigger in my Form
please help me
