Dear All

I have this pl/sql statment
web.show_document(' http://180.11.5.119:8889/reports/rwservlet?report=D:\pp_ORCL\RepInvoiceArabic.JSP&destype=cache&desformat=htmlcss&userid='||:parameter.PR_user_id||'/'||:parameter.PR_user_PW||'@orcl&p1='||:pp.NUMBER1);
in order to send a parameters to a report
the question is
I want to use a parameter instead of (180.11.5.119)(the ip of the server)
how can i do such thing

You want to use the code like this?

web.show_document(' :parameter.servlet?report=D:\pp_ORCL\RepInvoiceArabic.JSP&destype=cache
&desformat=htmlcss&userid='||:parameter.PR_user_id||'/'||:parameter.PR_user_PW||'@orcl&p1='||:pp.NUMBER1);

yes exactly
so the ip of the computer that the pl/sql will be changed if we put the form into another computer (i mean the IP will be changed according to the computer that the form exsist on)

You don't need to specify the IP address.
