Hi,
We had recently upgraded our data base from oracle 9i to oracle 10g version for our oracle apps 11.5.10 environment.There is no problem with our front end i.e. application but we are using toad 8.0.0.47 version as sql and pl/sql client tool for development,And we had a performance problem here.Toad is taking too much time to open a procedure code in schema browser and taking lot more time for loading into procedure editor and compilation.could any one help us out.
regards
vizith

Hi,
I tried this FAQ (Why can Toad sometimes seem to run slower on Oracle 10g?) page referenced steps,but still it is very much.
exec dbms_stats.gather_dictionary_stats;
exec dbms_stats.gather_fixed_objects_stats;
we all ready done these steps and new we did following steps which are specified in that page
PURGE RECYCLEBIN;
or if you are a DBA enabled user :
PURGE DBA_RECYCLEBIN;
but still it is giving us same trouble sir
