I have created a data form using the wizard and getting fields from a table Y. How can I use the form for inserting data into the db. I mean what must I write to a button code to do the stuff?

Normally, you have created a data block related to your table and the fields are already bounded. If so, you just have to commit your changes.

Perhaps you'll ask "how do I commit changes?"; press a yellow floppy-disk icon (the first one in the default toolbar), or press <Ctrl + K> to display key mappings and find "Commit" or "Save" (might be F10)
