Hi,
I have a application server and a database server on two different machines.
If my knowledge serves me right I assume that the ap server does not hold any data but only controls the running to the applications on the client side and is like a middleware to communicate to my database server.
How are the database server and application server communicating between themselves?
What files should I check to see this?
If the users are connected to app server then are they taken as individual users on the database or is there just one connection between the app server and database server and the users are connected only to the appserver
