Hello Friends

I have a question regarding the configuration of Software Configuration Manager on Metalink FOR CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

It needs OCR - a client side utility to be installed on customer side to upload product related data to the oracle support server.
The prerequisites for this OCR :
Sun SPARC Solaris, 8,9,10 and 64bit.
Database, 8.1.7, 9.0.1.x, 9.2.0.x, 10G.
E-Business Suite, 11.5.1 & higher.
JDK 1.2.2 or greater present in the Oracle Home.

1.Question: i have jdk 1.2.1 on my machine, will it make any difference?
2. Question: If i have another higher version jdk in any of my folder, can i point to that jdk?
doing so, will harm my database? Because my database may be using this current version of java.

Please clarify.
And How can i point classpath to the oracle supplied java?

Regards
