Hi,
im planning to enroll myself in an IT school that offers ORACLE certification courses. i need an expert's advice on what are the prerequisites that i need to learn? what is my starting procedure? should i have any specific programming language to learn in order to understand oracle? should i enroll in an IT school or i could self study ORACLE by reading "FOR DUMMY' BOOKS.. sorry i don't have any background on any programming language... please help me! i would really appreciate it! thanks in advance

A good start would be to download Oracle, read the installation instructions, install it and take it from there.
You don't really need programming language for the, but you should know your way around your operating system of choice somewhat.
When it's installed start with some basic SQL tutorials.

wow thanks.... another question: if i were to study oracle what are the major specializations that i could choose from? (eg. administration / programming?) i really don't have any idea... the main reason that i'm showing interest in oracle is that my friends who studied IT recommends this software, they said i could land a good job abroad if i were to be an expert in oracle.... so that's why i would really like to learn. sorry if i'm asking too much questions
