I have to convert forms 6i to forms 10g[9.0.4].
During the compilation,forms10g does nor recognize call built in.
What should i use instead of CAll()to successfully compile in 10gAS.

Thanks

That's what happens when you use undocumented features.

According to the "Forms Upgrade Reference" document found on Oracle9i Forms Technical Information page, CALL built-in is a undocumented version of CALL_FORM and was removed in Oracle 9i Forms.

Thats why i want to know what is its substitute?
just one more point
9.0.4 version is categorized as 10gAS and not 9i AS

So you believe Oracle kicked it out of 9i and integrated it back in 10g?

All I can say is that using undocumented features isn't always a good idea. The document suggests you to use CALL_FORM instead of CALL (I hope you managed to figure that out).

Is there anything else you'd like to know?
