Open a data block Property Palette. There's a "Scrollbar" section. Its "Orientation" property allows you to choose horizontal or vertical orientation.

Try the following,

In the main canvas create a stacked canvas using tool kit in the exact position and place the req. field in the canvas, adjust the viewport x,y position.

for details find the attachment.
